Guideline 2. Don't rely on color alone.You must make sure that your text and graphics are understandable even when viewed without color. If a person is blind, visually impaired, or even just colorblind colors will not receive the information you are trying to convey using color. Also if the background and foreground colors are too close to the same color they may not provide enough contrast for some users.
Check Points
- Make sure all information that is conveyed by color is also available without color.
- Make sure foreground and background colors provide sufficient contrast.
